I have two websites I’m trying to market and sell ad space on. Where can I find statistics showing me how many people are searching for specific categories on Google, Yahoo, etc.? For example: Where do I find the number of people searching for Nashville Restaurants each day on search engines?
I have a local dining guide and a local internet coupon website. I’m trying to collect stats to take to potential advertisers?
We are a private, non-profit Residential Treatment Center for boys ages 10-17, specializing in chemical dependency and sex-offender issues, and are trying to get out of state placement contracts. We would like to get some help as to how we could move up on the search results list instead of being on pgs.10 or 11. We would like for our website to be easily found by out-of-state placing entities, looking for somewhere to place their children.We’re just getting started on the whole website thing, so any help/ideas will be gladly appreciated.

I started a design company specializing in wedding invites, baby announcements, and corporate design. My website is up (www.milesquaredesign.com) but it’s really not registering with yahoo or google. I have also put up some flyers in town and I also found some free internet advertising (like craigslist). I need more ideas to get the word out for my company that are cheap or free! Many companies accept only solicited material etc. I am a voice over person with the ability to speak in 6 different accents and in the spanish language. I have my own recording studio and I have experience recording, music production, mixing and mastering. Most website give you the run around by making you pay them to be a ‘member’ with the possibility of getting a placement. What I need is a name, number, location etc. of someone or some company looking for voice over work. Does anyone know anyone like that? Thanks and I love you too

I work for a marketing firm who specializes in website that have been optimized for search engines. I am thinking of becoming an exclusive ‘search engine optimizer’ but am wondering if this is too broad of a category. Can one specialize in this and make a decent living?
