Having A Blog Section Is A Waste Of Time…
If you don’t work it.
You can discuss about issues relating to your type of business until your blue in the face. What you need to discuss is solutions, that solve the issues.
For example, I’m in real estate investing. I only work with individuals who have over $150K in retirement accounts. I could talk about the issues of foreclosures and bankruptcy all day. People who go to the internet don’t want to hear that… they can get that depressing information on the television or newspaper. They come to me to find solutions. How can I get their money out of the stock market and into a cash-flowing property at 50% off.
My problem: Finding those type of investors.
My solution: Creating Headlines and very informative blog articles that are between 400 – 700 words
Here Are 3 Ways To Increase Your Blog Traffic
1) Write one blog per day
2) The majority of your blog articles should focus on How To’s
3) Focus on adding value to the reader, don’t constantly try to sell them
To your success,
Kendall
P.s. The attached source is an article I wrote about increasing blog traffic, it focused on real estate, but the principles work for anybody.
The problem is a blog requires you to add all the content yourself and most people drop off after a few days or weeks at most. Why not set up a community and have others help with the content and keeping active discussions going. Use Joomla or some other content manager.
