The radio adds "Real Men of Genius " are the best
other, and other.
I really only respond to newspaper ads, and mail. And I usually throw away most of the "junk" mail too. TV and radio ads are annoying, and intrusive. very few people like telemarketers, I delete unsolicited spam. I do occasionally take note of billboards, the simpler and more straightforward ones seem more impactful. Ones like "We buy ugly houses" and a toll free number, with only a simple image of "Ug" (who buys the ugly houses). Informative newspaper ads get my attention best of all, if I am even remotely interested in the product. Just my opinion, hope it helps.
TV ALWAYS- NOT BECAUSE I AM A TV HEAD BUT BECAUSE TV COMMERCIALS- GOOD ONES HAVE A LASTING IMPACT- PICTURES MIXED WITH GREAT AUDIO OF COURSE AND IT HAVE TO BE FUNNY OR TOUCHING- BOTH ARE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL.
TV commercials that are funny or have animals in them. Like the kitty looking for the litter box or the Citicards about identity theft.
TV ads I absolutely hate are Carl Jr burgers.
Other kind of ads like email, junk mail, telemarketing, fliers, etc I disregard or end up in the trash
I’m a walking sucker if the tv or radio ad is funny with great videos & music.Or like those Coke christmas trucks
I will buy, try, support that comapany any chance I get!
Some really great ones out now, that push the envelope-love them all!
Samsung(Its not that hard to imagine)
Durex(For a million reasons)
Microsoft(People are the most important part of any business)
Airtel(Express Yourself, India)
Banglalink(Bangladesh)
LML Freedom(Ride to know)
you cant ask that question and go from there…it depends on what your target market is and what you are selling/promoting/persuading….if someone says news paper then they are most likely in the 30 – 50 age range and not in a younger demographic…you have to know your audience….i am 20yrs. old (generation y) and a third year marketing student…the key words you must remember for any type of marketing is "it depends" it could be an ad in the paper or an ad on t.v. but it depends on where i am what i am doing and most importantly what the product is and who it is aimed towards.
Other … newspaper ads work best with me, followed by television or sponsored search. But it really depends on the product.
If I’m buying a car, I may use the internet, but it’s doubtful that an internet ad banner ad may persuade me. Search ads, though, might earn a click and a look. But I’ll sure check all the prices in the paper locally before I buy anything. Those newspaper ads can have a big impact. They don’t have to be flashy. Boring with lots of information works fine.
If it’s a new product or new use of an old product, television usually has the best impact. If I can see the product demonstrated I can make a quick decision.
