Website Placement Archives

I’m in the military and I’m trying to take a math class at Central Texas College (there’s a branch at the duty station that I’m at which is Ft. Bragg). They are having me take a placement test this week however the lady wasn’t to informative on what test it was. She said it’s not the ACCUPLACER test though but something similar. She said it’s 25 questions and they give you an hour and it’s just all algebra and it’s all algebra under college algebra (which is the math I’m trying to place into). I was just curious if anyone has taken a test at Central Texas or if anyone has an idea of the test that I’m taking? I tried to look it up on their website and the only tests I’m showing for placement tests are the ASSET test and some Texas placement test. Thanks.

I just had a chart done on this website. I have no clue how to read it or what any of it means. Could anyone elaborate on this for me?

http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?rs=3&btyp=w2gw&&cid=lfhfileSu35s9-u1229174471

Sunsign: Gemini
Moon: Scorpio
Mercury: Cancer
Venus: Taurus
Mars: Cancer
That was wonderful! Thank you.

I was reading on an astrology website (cafe astrology), that the aspects that Mars makes to other planets will show what kind of experiences we seek to have. Here is the link. – http://www.cafeastrology.com/mars.html Here is the quote. – "Planets that Mars contacts are colored with action and self-assertion. These planets can represent the kinds of experiences we seek".

So, would that mean that if it was, for example, a Mars-Mercury aspect, we would seek activities that has to do with your mind (games of strategy, debates, ect.)?

What are your Mars placements including sign, house and aspects and what kinds of experiences do you seek? Such as, do you like to have fun experiences (games, socializing, ect.), do you like to have more serious experiences, do you like to have experiences where you are learning something, whatever you think applies to the question is fine.

Hi all,

My wife is planning to work in Shanghai asap ( She is Chinese) and due to the fact she has been in the Uk for 8 Years I have agreed to go with her and my baby daughter.

Problem is I work as website Jacks of all trades which are a dime a dozen in China.

I am not too bothered about changing career but would want to know what options I might have and how to find a job quickly.

I’m 28, British with a BA Hons.

P.S in my own research I have found Chinese Job sites very out dated and spammy as well as teaching placements to be a little iffy on visa’s.

Thanks for reading.

Be it podcast, youtube video, website, or more hopefully a program that can help me with my pronunciation.

I know I can just google it, but I’d like recommendations from people who’ve done it before and found something that works for them.

I do have access to Rosetta stone but that’s more trial by error and that can be infuriating when you think you’re saying it right but you can’t figure out where you’re going wrong. And it doesn’t tell you how to pronounce it right (ie. tongue placement and words in other languages that have similar sounds)..

Every time I visit http://www.adoptuskids.org website… I want to grab em all as my own. I think it’s time that I start doing some real homework as I know it’s not an overnight decision or a quick process. Im mostly interested in the older kids. Age 11+ really. I’m done with Dora the Explorer.

So what’s the process like to become a foster parent? (who is open to adoption btw). I know some do it for money, but honestly, I’d be paid plenty just to give these kids a real shot at a normal love with a loving family. Are most of the kids special needs kids? I can manage the expected emotional and re-direction needs, but im not so comfortable with the physical. i.e wheelchairs, bed ridden, mental retardation. etc.

I’ve hosted exchange students in the past, and it was an awesome experience. I love my exchange daughters as much as I love my own. But this is different. The girls on exchange are usually exceptionally bright, and outgoing to make it into the program. I would almost think foster children to be the opposite. But I have nothing to base this on.

If your a foster parent — i’d love to hear your experience. If your not, but have an opinion about it (good or bad..Im open), Id love to hear that too.

How does it work? Is it always temporary placements?

This is only the Sun sign (zodiac) though….because in astrology there are placements like the moon, rising, mars, venus signs as well, but we’re not going to get too deep with astrology now.

BUT! Can you tell me if you express these Sagittarius traits ??
Would you consider yourself ……philosophical, adventurous, sharp, blunt, changeable, reckless sometimes, enthusiastic, generous….etc.
Here is a website for more information…

http://www.cafeastrology.com/zodiacsagittarius.html

Nov.22-Dec.21 are Sagittarius
Get your Natal chart done if you’re interested anyone.

Right hears my problem, i am applying for placements and i have a well formatted CV and most jobs that i apply to are online were u copy and paste your CV into a large input box, when i copy mine because its all in tables the formatting goes to pot! so i was thinking of uploading the CV and putting a link to the .doc file in the input box. i need to find a website what looks professional and were potential employers can simply click the link and open the .doc state away with out going through validation like rapid shear, mega upload etc.

Thanks

Daniel

I love to draw, I want to become an comic book artist/ animator, the only problem is that I’m not that good. Over the years I have always drawn in and anime-ish style, now I’m starting to realize that years of just drawing like that without knowing the basics, have severely crippled my ability to draw. At first I start to move away from drawing anime and moved towards a more american comic/cartoon style, but even this was nearly impossible to do as still did not understand the basics, so now I am trying to completely relearn how to draw. one of the things I’ve been doing recently is gesture drawings based on poses from images off the internet, the website Posemaniacs, or from art books. Speaking of art books, I have tons, and I’ve trying to study them more closely, I have to name a few Anatomy for Fantasy Artist, How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way, Idiot’s Guide to Drawing Manga, and the list goes on. My problem is that I’m still not happy where I’m at, I know that doing gesture drawings and drawing from life can improve my skills in drawing more stylized stuff, but there’s still a lot I don’t understand and I am worried that I am drawing wrong, my drawings always end up sloppy and I have trouble fitting more then one drawing on a page. I also are they not detailed enough, am I not accurate to the shape of the body, do I need to add in accurate/semi-accurate muscles or should I just do quick construction to practice placement. Nothing would make me happier to be able to draw and be satisfied with my work, I’d love to take a life drawing class, but the college I’m going to doesn’t have any open. I guess all I need to do is practice more and I will get better, but I has been years and I’m just worried that I will never get where I want, so if someone could just point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a hack of a website where you can rename towns or edit the names of places on google maps or earth.

Also is there a site or addon where you can highlight objects on google maps or draw on the maps where you can add the future placements of buildings or developments in a town.
I didn’t mean a literal HACK. I meant a mod for personal uses (There are lots of them on the internet I just cant find the type Im looking for). A free shareware program like Google Earth is not worth going to jail for.

Without any scorpio placements in your chart? Because i’ve been thinking of some sexual things lately. like why not include food in with sex? have a huge dinner with deserts and sweets already prepared. start having sex in the kitchen, and then start inovating with the foods.

I’m thinking about creating a sex website talking about sex (since im so passionate about it). It’s not going to be a porn site, but just a sexual blog explaining sex positions and advice on ways to make sex better. I might add things to sell like sex toys and sexual orientated items.
