It can be a jungle. take a shortcut,go online: State of New York,once there in search line: type in: dept civil service examinations, press enter, then type in- Correctional Officer trainee exam.
Once there you will find good news that if you are a resident,with no felonies and meet criteria to be a Public servant you can then apply for the next exam April 14th(I think that is what I seen). You will be given a trainee exam. Trainee’s collect 33k yr and that is some good bucks. get excited and show it
