Hi! Would you please look at my website and give me your honest opinion of the design and the products?
I have a new website selling infant and toddler clothing up to 4T. I have about 30-40 people stop in a day but hardly any sales. I’ve tried to make the site as user friendly as possible and have all different styles of clothing in all price ranges. I even offer free shipping! I would just like honest opinions and constructive criticism please. Is it a place you would want to shop? If not, why? I think that your products are very nice and at a reasonable price. (like the free shipping!) I would shop there but i think that presentation is everything! Just try to make the site as creative as you can and put something to catch peoples eye. Like using more then just two colors for the background. Or like putting the sales in bold or something! I like it but you can tell that it’s not professionally done but I don’t think that is a huge concern due to your type of service. All in all, it’s very friendly and inviting but there are a lot of areas for improvement. I’m pretty good at both graphic and web design so if you need any help then I’m more than happy to give you some advice. By the way, I really like your enthusiasm.

Yummy Mummy – Your website needs improving if you are to maximize your chances of sales. I’m only seventeen years of age but trust me with what I’m saying. I think the name is really good and has a lot of potential, especially as it is rather catchy and the domain name is simple and not complicated which means that potential customers are more likely to remember you. As a business, you have a lot of potential but the reason why you’re not getting any sales is because the website is so poor that no one will take your business seriously. The website has to look professional otherwise people just won’t trust you. Because at the end of the day, if people are spending their own money then they need to trust the who they’re dealing with.

SKO Designs – No offence but for a graphic/web design company, your website is pretty appalling to be quite honest. I’m suprised if you actually get any customers.
The layout is a little untidy and doesn’t look professional at all, you have too many colours in there that are mixed and don‘t even go, try going for more white or lighter colours so when people look at your baby cloths they will be more attracted to them rather then the bright green background :]
I know people come on there to browse possibly buy your cloths but the background and layout is a big let down especially the text, its too plain, get something fancy in there. If you have Photoshop that can work wonders on banners and texts.
Other then this the cloths are cute, most of them are set at a reasonable price (but I’m not from america so I don’t know the tranlation of money over here in the UK) and the links are easy to find Also you have a search engine, that’s very useful for people who visit your website.
To better it and get more sales I strongly suggest you change your background and lower the prices on a few things besides free shipping make a few more deals and bargains. If people can go down the high street and buy more or less the same thing for the same price then there’s no point in ordering online and waiting even if free shipping is included. You’ve got to make visitors think WOW that really is cheap and I’m getting more then my moneys worth.
Also you can be a bit more persuasive with your text. And finally well taking photos of your products its great you’ve got the white background but you need to make your products look more presentable, not like they’ve just been thrown and scrunched up then photographed. The little girl is adoable though!
Other then this I think you’ve done a dam good job at presenting your website :]
Very cute but personally, I wouldn’t buy anything just b/c of the high prices. Maybe some people can afford those things but I’m cheap and know that kids only wear those outfits for a very short time before they outgrow them. It’s a bit difficult justifying $30 for an outfit that’ll only be worn a few times. But some people will pay that. Just not me.
I love the colors you chose though and it seems well layed out and it was easy to use.
My opnion is that the site is really user friendly.
It’s just the prices. With the hard times, it’s just hard for many people to buy clothes that are so highly priced, especially since toddlers grow and they’re going to be getting new clothes all the time. I suggest toning down the prices a bit. (and I understand that’s gonna be tought…cause obviously you need to profit right?)

this is sooo cute… I think that it would be a little better with some baby music in th background.. but thats your choice. I think its very professional :)
P.S. those prices are toooo expensive and there are people who have more varieties of clothes at the store at much cheaper prices. You should make reasonable prices and compare them to other stores. Plus make your website more popular too.

but your site looks amazing, i think we just need to get our names out n get some positive feedbacks on there i think maybe bcz ppl dont know us we arent trusted, ive listed my stock on ebay to try n get some awareness from that.. you can hit nurseries and places like that with leaflets etc. mums & babies groups too
