How do you do SEO and SEM?
I have an oDesk account and was looking through and saw that two of the marketing sections were Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. I’ve done SMM but have no idea how SEO and SEM would even been attempted.

As Kranthi said these two are huge subjects and mastering them would require a lot of time. Its true that odesk shows up with a huge amount of job postings that require either of the two mentioned skills but if you want to get hired for any of these jobs, you’ll first have to spend a lot of time learning the skills of SEO and SEM through books and tutorials.
They are very Huge Subjects and it can’t be explained here.. i prefer you to read some e-books (brad callen’s, dave taylors etc..) or go through some online tutorials to get basic idea on SEO and SEM.
