I am trying to find ways of increasing traffic for my website?
I recently started my own internet business. I have tried SEO and was wondering if there are any other ways to increase traffic to my website. SEO has been slow, and I am not getting the results I had hoped for in the beginning. I think what I may need is a more targeted approach. However, I am unsure of exactly how to achieve that.

SEO Rank, MORE Traffic!
——————————–
You can use google adword, but its still similiar to spam i think, you should try a firm that offers actual marketing. There are companies out there that will hire people for you to start talking about your product on social netowrks, forums, and blogs. I know the big one is Hypedrive, but there are probaly others you can check into. I have just seemed adwords, seo as just part of the plan, you need someone that will genrate conversation foryou , not just a way to show up during keywords. Just look around and be careful with whom you deal with,
use google adward to know more visit google site or visit http://www.sharevyapaar.com and choose adward symbol
What kind of content do you have on your site?
The simple equation to high traffic, in my opinion, is plenty of excellent content + plenty of inbound links.
Reaching these two components is hard work, but it really is very simple. Google wants to drive traffic to quality sites. These two components are what make quality sites.
Oh my! Seo doesnt work for me. Though my site was indexed
in days I couldn’t make high rankings. But I believe it is still possible to optimise for higher rankings also there are lots of ways you can get free traffic as explained in free traffic tycoon and other e-books. But the free one will always take your time. If you have the money adwords is the best. You will get instant traffic here but you need the skills first.

I don’t know what business you are in so I will just make a hypothetical here. My career up until i retired was as owner of about seventy websites from 1994 up until 2001.
Paying for traffic requires very deep pockets. It is good for very well established companies with a budget to spend to get the business going.
The average guy trying to get going usually doesn’t have that type of money. Ad words can whittle your account down in one day if you picked the wrong word. Don’t forget getting them to your site doesn’t mean they will buy anything.
What worked for me is having many domain names. The names need to be relative to your type of business.
So if you had a butcher shop your domain porkchops.com would be better than joesplace.com.
Content is the key as someone else mentioned.
Google and other search engines look for relationship of name to content, links and popularity.
One quick way to develop content is to let say you were opening a cooking website. Find recipe books and cooking books that are in the public domain. Gutenberg.org can provide that as well as many public domain documents.
Link them to and information link on your home page and tie all your domains to each other.
All I can tell you it works. I have built many profitable websites.
Good Luck
Organic backlinks as well as bought backlinks; write some articles and submit to article directories; answer and post some questions on blogs & forums with a backlink to your site in your signature line (if available); cloaking.
These techniques will help drive targeted traffic to your site.
Hope this helps…
