i'm trying to get hits to my website anyone got any ideas how i can increase traffic?
Hi there i’m trying to desperately trying to get more hits to our family venture i have been reading about meta tags and things but i am still struggling to get any hits. The website is a holiday apartment Rental in Turkey, the website is http://www.akbukholidayhome.co.uk

I took a look at hehe website. It’s tidy and gives any visitor what they need t know about the property but for an SEO (being found in Google) perspective is just does not have enough ‘unique and quality content’.
I take it you are not particualary knowlegable in SEO so I have two suggestions that I think will make a huge amount of difference to your site traffic.
Without going too depply into SEO you need to have , as a minimum, unique quality content that is ‘keyword rich’ (things people might type into Google search to find your site). Just trust me on this one as there is not enough space and time to teach the whole gambit here.
Write 3 articles, each about 350-500 words. I suggest the titles should be
Turkey Holiday Home Rental
Holiday Apartment In Turkey
and one other to include Bodrum and Akbuk
They don’t need to be about your holiday home but a general article on the subject. Use the web as a resouce for material. Read everyone elses articles (try ezinearticles.com) and then write one IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
The key thing here is to write , interesting, readable, content, ensure you use your keyword phrase (title) once or twice per hundred words. Also include lots of TURKEY/BODRUM/HOLIDAY/APARTMENT/home/flat/vacation/beach house etc related words. These are there simply to attract Google searches to your page.
ENSURE it is unique (see plagium.com). Copy and paste it into palgium and it will confirm it’s uniqness. If it throws up anything just reword the part it shows.
Add the articles one under the other on your home page
Do that and you will be 90% ahead of most people and have something for google to find. Google has indexed your site (that very good) but it will not show in any decent place in searches as it is.
Next. Google ranks the ‘quality’ of a website by how many other websites (especially related content sites) link to your site.
So simply find as many FREE ‘holiday home/rental home/real estate/clasified ad sites’ as you can and post an ad for your apartment. This is NOT for the ad itself. It is for the link back to your website for Google to see.
Your ad needn’t be very flashy as long as you include your web site url (http://www…………….)
Get 10 or 20 of those (the more the better) and you should see some search traffic hitting your site.
Currently the latest craze is to utilize the likes of Youtube,digg,facebook, twitter etc. these social sites create loads of targeted tarffic as they work like a ‘fan club’ for paticular subjects.
