I am a member at David Lloyd and in the club there is a clubs creche and a children’s center which parents can leave their children within supervision while they go to the gym or something. So I went onto the club’s website and they have placements for work experience and I am to complete the form provided over the internet and they will be in touch.
So I was wondering whether to put breif details of what I am enquiring for or lots of details like I would do so in a letter form?
And should I also tell them about how I would like to work in the Creche or the Children’s center because I will be studying the Health & Social care diploma and this work experience will go towards my diploma?
Im not sure whether to write a massive amount in this form or not so please please help!!
Many thanks =) x
Oh and should I let them know that I am a member there too? And write down my membership number?

I just had a chart done on this website. I have no clue how to read it or what any of it means. Could anyone elaborate on this for me?

Sunsign: Gemini

That was wonderful! Thank you.

Every Top 10 Hosting Plans list I see is different. So those don’t offer much help.

Bluehost I’ve never heard of but keeps emerging as one of the best.

I’m currently using godaddy which I REALLY DISLIKE. It’s tortuous. Everytime you buy a domain, you’re blasted with screens of more options to buy crap. I dislike godaddy hosting.

I have about 8 domains and a hosting package currently on godaddy so if I switched I’d need to be able to transfer those.

I REALLY like yahoo’s search engine and answers! area, etc. But I am not sure about there webhosting.

Would need

– ecommerce (i’m going to be selling audio products, documents, and possibly video products from the site. So auto-downloading of a purchased product is a must (I know ejunkie offers that but that’s too small scale).

–Site analytics!!! I MUST have site analytics!

– domain transfer ease

–quality cPanel installs

– low cost etc.

Thanks. Bluehost was the top of this one list, so I may check them out.

Bye Bye Bluehost.

Customer for years… raised my rate without warning. Restricted number of emails I could send. Requested an increase and got the run around. Was told to write to someone in particular and they never wrote back or responded to any calls. POOR customer service so switched. Must be nice to be making enough $$ to not care about service anymore.

Funny story actually. For the past 10 years, one of the cars I’ve always wanted to own was a 1972 Mazda RX3 or a 1976 Nissan Laurel SGX (Japanese Muscle). I found a lot of them for pretty cheap but the body (on every single one of them) needed major work. It was either damages from collision or body rot, and so on. I thought to myself, The car itself is at least – grand and on top of that, I might need to pay someone a few more grand to repair the body. So I came up with an conclusion: I’m going to get this car regardless but since it’s so old, regardless which one I buy, it’s going to need some bodywork done do it. Since I’m into (but do not know how to) repair and refinish auto body, this might work out perfectly and I can repair the car myself for a fraction of the price. And now:

I’m interested in starting a career as a collision/auto body repairer. I was looking at UTI and WyoTech. I do not know if WyoTech offers training in auto body repair as it did not show anything on thier website but it’s one of the automotive school that’s close by. I, personally, would do the research myself, but it may be extensive and maybe others were in the same situation and had already come up with an resolution.

What I want to know is:

-What are the pro’s and con’s of both? If any?
-Which is more reputable?
-Which is more expensive?
-Which has more hands-on, better quality instructor & training?
-Which assists in job placement?
-What are the duration of each?

I apologize for the many questions but if there’s any UTI or WyoTech graduates or other who knows, please reply and tell me how your experience was. Please try not to be biased as this is really important to me. Which school was better and why? Also if it helps, my location is based out of Sacramento, California. Thanks.

CNET & LA Times stating ms Bing taking 30% of al usa searches?
I smell dishonesty.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2011/04/microsofts-bing-took-30-share-of-us-web-search-market-in-march.html

People simply aren’t talking about or using Microsoft Bing period.

I personally see no reason to switch to Bing.

The CNET and LA Times stating that Bing just took 30% of all USA searches.

The statcounter also says Google still has 80% of all searches in USA.

http://gs.statcounter.com/#search_engine-US-daily-20110410-20110412-bar

What on earth is going on here?

thanks, experts @ Y! Answers

I asked a question earlier last night about getting a USB adapter for Wi-Fi on my Nintendo DS. So I went on the Best Buy website and it said this in the descrition.

(1) Complies with 802.11g standards; backward compatible with 802.11b.
(2) Wireless-G technology delivers up to 54 Mbps data transfer rates.
(3) Fast speed and up to 400′ range.
(4) Ideal for streaming music, online gaming, Web-surfing and e-mailing.
(5) No external power source needed; plugs directly into a standard USB 1.1/2.0 port on your laptop.
(6) Wi-Fi protected access and WEP protection with 64-bit and 128-bit encryption.
(7) Included desktop stand allows for flexible placement options.
(8) Designed for laptop applications.
(9) Compatible with Windows Vista.

So does this mean that it would work for me to get to use Wi-Fi on my Nintendo DS? If you want to see more here is the link. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8544989&st=wifi+usb+adapter&lp=4&type=product&cp=1&id=1188560188149
Yes Ken you are right. I know that the Wi-Fi is built in to the DS. So will this let me connect to the internet at my home?

I just stumbled upon nachofoto.com
They seem to provide a badge for blogs & Website.
These Badge’s convert a blogs RSS feed into a flash slideshow.

http://nachofoto.com/badge

They say we can increase our blogs traffic if we embed this badge in our blog.

Just wondering if anyone is using it currently…

This signing bonus… I need to know the exact date a person receives this check. After M.E.P.S? Once they’re headed to boot camp?

If a person/new recruit uses this signing bonus for illegal activities, will or even can they be prosecuted under Military or Civilian law (or both)?

This person has ‘sworn in’ to join the service – best place for him. I understand you are actually ‘sworn in’ Twice; once when you sign up to go and the next time when they ship you out. This person has signed the first one. Is there a public records department in which I can further investigate his exact placement into the Military and dates of removal from this area?

If I have an official restraining order placed on this person, how does it affect him going into the military? These emergency one-night restraints I am filing will not continue.

If I file a restraining order on him after he leaves the area, what will happen?

If he is arrested between the time he’s sworn in the 1st time & goes to boot camp, who prosecutes and to what extent?

Is there a website available where can I find out more about original enlistment "being sworn in" and when they leave for boot camp?

If a person goes into the National Guard and he returns to the area + commits a crime, who punishes him? Is the Army different than the National Guard in this respect?

I would rather see him sent far away and let the US Government rehabilitate this menace to society than block his "enlistment into the military to help this country". He needs money NOW & the rumor is that he will be getting somebody else to hurt me for him (this avoids the restraining order). This is unacceptable and his reputation of lying will hopefully be corrected via military training. However, this large amount of money he is collecting will be enough for him to pay somebody to kill me, not just hurt me Is there any difference?

How much should I involve the recruiter with this person’s history and my ongoing case with the local police? Should they be notified?

Is there a state/federal agency contact that can assist me with my problem?

If I fear for my life (it is obvious that I DO), are there special guidelines that should be followed vs. these repeated/documented threats of violence?

OK – I see there are plenty of active military personnel on Yahoo Answers – please give me any/all advice so I can protect myself. The person in question has great potential but will not succeed without a strict environment and reinforced guidance.

I will protect myself at all costs and make proper decisions quickly in order to see this situation closed as soon as possible. Thanks.
Thanks for the tips so far. Great news that he’s not getting any money until he completes basic training.

I do have documentation of all activities that warrant asking these questions, including recorded telephone calls, witnesses, and a police report which is still (supposedly) being investigated.

This man has a checkered legal past. Since the armed forces have relaxed their standards of recruiting; the opportunity for ‘quick cash’ without a great deal of thought about the consequences (like serving your country with integrity) may cause considerable problems with effective training, in particular with persons such as this one.

No matter. My questions deal with the fact that this individual will NOT follow the law. He will not adhere to a restraining order & he knows certain individuals who will hurt me for money.

If he doesn’t have a restraining order, he’ll be gone. This is my goal. If a restraining order keeps him in the area, I will continue to be threatened.

Thanks again -
Also, the military IS a place where people can get their life straightened out. Again, this individual has a great deal of potential; but he needs structure. He’ll be a fine soldier & is intelligent enough to easily succeed in the Armed Forces.

Hi I added a template for a site im building in school, for the overall website using dreamweaver.. i made a logo in photoshop and applied it to the top of the template. Now it looks good, but when i add the template to my pages it still shows up but in browser view its just not there at all..now my local files on the bottom right show
site-dons then coming off that is a folder called templates which is holding the template im using and the logo/pic (maybe its placement here is messsing me up?)

then the next few coming down are other pages that are part of the site.

here is what the code looks like to the pic in the template

<div id="container">
<div id="header">
<h1><img src="/Templates/Donlogofinal.png" alt="Donnylogo" width="792" height="151" align="left" /></h1>
<p align="right"> </p>
<p align="right"> </p>
<p align="right"> </p>
<p align="right"> </p>
<p align="right">
<!– end #header –>

so from the lack of info maybe someone can help… here is a screenshot of the logo, the code, and my folders on the bottom right.

http://s844.photobucket.com/albums/ab7/rockyd70094/dreamweaver%20help/?action=view&current=helppp.jpg

Thanks, and I like when we were learning to code by hand this semester.. however the school gave us Dreamweaver and thats what I have to work in, or at least im suppose to, also I have alot done there already and this is due by midnight.
Ron… I had got all 8 pages worked out then I seen this message. Very helpful, and i seen something that has me thinking.. You said remove / before my images…(thats how i got them to show in my browser when viewing) but you then said unless im going to put this online.. Does this mean that when I publish this online for school in a little while, i need to re-add the / before images? Also btw i dumped off the template, and just copied the first page over and over and edited the main content.. I also created a images folder and and the logo there then removed the / from images and everything is working.. but now im curious about the publishing to a website and the / before images.

keep reading that the dms program should be accredited, so that I can be registered with ARDMS right after my schooling. I have weighed my options and I have to spend 4 years at Loma Linda University (2 years in a different Allied Health Program, the preq. classes, the required religious classes at that school (I am not very religious), and 2 years in very hard to get into sonography program, they take 10 out of 45 applications) or I can go to West Coast College (not accredited but reputable) for 2 years and then spend that extra time in the field and actually work in sonography. It makes more sense to me to go with the WCC program and actually build my knowledge and experience level for a year before taking the ARDMS. Plus they have job placement so I shouldn’t have trouble working for a year before I am eligible to be registered. I read on a dms website that once you are registered, thats what the employers look at.

I would love to hear from sonographers & sonography students.
Once you are a registered DMS you can still further your sonography education with LLU if you want to go into a specialty.

I asked this before and had a couple of really good answers but my question got deleted somehow. Thanks to those who answered it.
