I opened my website 2 1/2 months ago… I’ve started a google adwords campaign, site map, and a blog even have participated in link swaping. My site traffic has been increasing but no sales? is this normal? what should I be doing differently?

I’ve got a few questions about my website and it’s money.
1. Is it worth paying a few dollars a day to advertise on Facebook?
2. I use webs as a provider, can I use Adsense with it?
3. How can I increase my internet traffic? I’ve got a facebook group for my website, invited all my friends, And I recently even sent all my friends emails linking to my website. I also submitted my website to a few SEO’s.
4. Is it possible to open a paypal for my brother that runs his own blog? He is 12 years old.
5. How can I increase my PR, while having a few Adsense banners, and doing a PPP (PayPerPost) every 5ish posts?
Sorry for all the questions, any help would be completely appreciated.
P.S. I’d also like to not spend alot of money on this yet, but until I can start it up and running.
Okay so I work for some programmers working on a website, not sure if I should post it but I will. Its called rufflesraffles.com. Its a great system and so far we have had almost 5,000 hits and already sent out prizes we hoped that winners would spread the word but it seems like they just keep it a secret. I am part of the marketing team and I have searched for a million and a half ways to increase traffic with no luck. We have a meeting with some investors and advertisers next week and we are supposed to have a substantially increasing public…I have five accounts on Facebook and I have had no luck there I post have naked women on YouTube and get like a million hits but noone visits the website on the girls boob and I have even tried selling stuff on craigslist all over the country stating I won it on ruffles Raffles. I am tired and out of ideas! I have tried mass email marketing which sucks because it usually just gets filtered into spam folder I have even tried paying for Google ads its just the benefits don’t outweigh the harm(costs .25 per click on the ad and raffle entries cost and some are free but make us a dollar so we wold lose $.25 advertising with Google, same story with Facebook a little less with MySpace but MySpace is dead for what they charge). I want someone to offer help, legitimate ideas, I am begging you, I could potentially loose my job :-/ please don’t answer it takes time…please don’t…I know its true but not true too, I created a blog about hacking a PSP a while back when I was in high-school, its been 3 years and that website has only had 1,390 visitors half of which were probably me.

Do you have your own website or blog and have you tried exchangeing links with others.This is a good way of increasing traffic on your site.Why dont you join groups which exchange links.I have created three groups today for helping people in link exchange.The more no of links you exchange the more traffic you get as people who exchange links with you keep visiting your site to chek if their link is still there or not.Wont that increase traffic on your site and that will list your site in search engines.There are no members at present but please join the group because i know that the members will soon increase.Here are the links

If I put my website on different sites and blogs, would it help my google rating and increase traffic? As an example, If I started a blog or posted something like "I just opened my own online shop at www.carolinacurios.com, come check us out" on Facebook or an online forum. How much of an increase do you think I could see? Is this considered spamming and what are the consequences if it is? I don’t want to spam, but just wondering.

This year I started a computer repair business, and I’m currently working my business full time, but I need to get more customers in order to be viable as a business.
All of my customers have been very happy with the service I’ve provided, and several have been repeat customers, but I’m having a hard time getting new customers.
Currently I’m doing advertising online with superpages/yellowpages and pay per click with the big search engines. I’m also getting in the local yellow pages, but I need to wait a couple of months until the new directory comes out. I’ve also started a facebook fan page, a twitter page, and a blog with articles I hope are helpful for my customer base.
I don’t have a lot of cash to invest, but I have time. What do you think I should do to get the word out?
I have just started a new movie review blog with a twist. I review movies without even seeing them, then review the same movies again after I do see them. The idea is to be funny more than anything. I don’t really know how to get my blog to come up in the major search engines unless I type the exact address in Google or Yahoo. How can I get it to come up by typing in more general terms like "movie reviews", etc.? I had read that posting my link in forums is a way to market it, but won’t other blogs or forums about the same topic not want others to do that?
My blog also contains some explicit language. Can I post my link in forums and so forth without getting into trouble?
