Hello All, I have this website: http://People-Directory.ws and it is a People Search Engine! It is really cool and totally legit….. (takes ,000 a month, just to keep the database running) and I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to bring in EVEN MORE traffic than what there already is….. There is alot of Traffic as is, but we are looking for ways to get even more traffic…. The more traffic, the better the system runs….. Make Sense? Anyways, any advice would be great!! We already run PPC Campaigns, SEO, Articles, Blogs, etc. Any other ways that you could think of that would maybe bring in Double Traffic? Any Advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I am an illustrator & cartoonist & I have been trying to generate hits & income from my clip art site. I’ve tried postcard mailings, craigslist postings, placing ads in publications, SEO (search engine optimization), email campaigns, business card dropoffs, etc, but with little effect. Any fresh ideas out there??

I am a beginner but have learned a lot about search engine optimization (SEO). We have worked on Google AdWord campaigns, Yahoo! Search Marketing, and used Google Analytics. We used a broad search as well as an industry specialized search, which has obviously been more cost effective.

I have recently submitted our company and link to multiple industry directories with higher PageRank than ours. I have used free keyword tools found in AdWords, Analytics, and Search Marketing, respectively, as well as the free tool on wordtracker.

Also, we have recently created static pages to our web site for added content. Hopefully our recent steps (directory submission, upping our bids in PPC programs, and creating content based pages) will work.

Can anyone help on ways to direct more traffic to our site? Help us maximize our ROI? We usa a dynaminc web site but want to raise our PageRank and site visits.

I have a few sites that I started up but nobody visits them because nobody knows about them. But is this because I did not optimize my SE marketing or because I just did not push enough oomph into marketing in the first place? It seems that SEO is a buzzword but all it really is is optimization of your search engine marketing campaign. But no matter how hard I look I don’t really see that many nice and innovative and useful articles on the net about pure marketing on the internet.

Can anyone list some cheap ways to market websites such as health and weightloss blogs?
Ok I guess my question was, besides fighting for positions in the search engines, what other ways are good to market a brand new website. Adwords? I mean you have to get the word out. I don’t want to just OPTIMIZE my SE campaigns…I want to know how to use them to drive traffic to my websites without worrying about how google or yahoo "ranks" my site. There must be feasable ways to market a website with total disregard for what a search engine thinks of your efforts, right?
