I have a main website which is a domain registration and website hosting business, it is relatively new and i wanted to drive traffic to it.

4 years ago, I went on a domain name buying frenzy and have a control panel with another hosting company inwhich there are over 250 domains all owned by me,

I was wondering if there is a way to use these to increase the page rank on my main new site. all these domains are relatively old but have page rank 0 as nothing was ever done with most of them

I have a website that sells guides on how to make money online. I dont get much traffic, only about 10 people a day. The domain name itself and website are about 4 months old. How can I use this page rank to my advantage? I mean it obviously doesnt equal traffic because my traffic has not increased much since it moved up in the ranks, so anyone know how I can take advantage of this page rank and possibly make money off it?
(Yeah I know, I sell money making guides but Im asking others how to make money from this, go figure)

Ok well this is my sad attempt to get my own domain website since i cannot get one since i don’t own a credit card and am 17 lol… In return for me advertising your website all over the web and increasing your traffic along with your daily income from "adsense on google" for your Business website or whatever it may be. I will create blogs, set pop ups ETC… for your site. What i ask in return is someone creates a cheap 99 cent domain name for me and instintly hand me over the password along with the password for the email address that comes with it. While i understand your the one paying for it and could most likely turn it off at anytime if you so choose it would still be very appreciated and in return your TRAFFIC on your site should be increased

Hey Guys,
I am planning to redesign my website ( 1100+ Pages) which is doing good on search engines and is getting good traffic. My only concern is if i do that keeping in mind all the link placement and everything. Still can rank fall on google??

I thought one solution for this let me know if that will work –

Will launch new page with same domain name but with different extension say .info and with new title, keywords and description in meta tags plus will modify on page content too except dynamic part of the site. Once that new page is crawled by google will replace old one with new one on main hosting.. Hows it sounding and yes I did lot of optimization for current page..
So please suggest me best possible way of gaining more rank with new page rather thn loosing it

I own a domain name that I am currently selling. In order to increase traffic and hits I plan on making a website for the domain name but the only contant I will have are to links to other sites that are established. I do not plan on charging these other sites for any traffic that my site may bring them.
Is this something I can do with out any reprocussions from the other sites?

Early last year I started my own online business selling skirting boards, fitting etc.. and I hired a freelancer to do the work and set everything up etc.. Anyhow my Freelancer bought the domain name for me using my personal details, and bought the software, maintained the website etc.. and I paid him a good wage. Then once the business started to grow, he held me to ransom of £5000 to buy the domain name off him and to keep my business going. As you can imagine I was shocked and angry, but I refused to pay. So he decided to turn the domain name off, leaving me in serious trouble. Luckily the firm he bought the system off helped me and had a back up of everything on my website. They set me a website up using a new domain name, and configured all my information and products onto the site, and I have began trading again.

Now, 2 things,

1) The firm did a load of Online Marketing for my company, so this guy has started the website himself and is boasting page 1 on all the major search engines because of all the backlinking and strategies that I PAID FOR on my original domain.

2) He’s copied my website information word for word, including all the pictures etc.. and is using it on his website. It’s annoying me because I’m losing a lot of business, but he’ll keep copying everything!

Is there anyway I can nail this guy for breach of copyright, or has anyone any legal ideas apart from giving him a good slap!

This is complicated but I’ll try to summarize. A friend of mine in another state owns "ABC Widget Company, LLC". We agreed we could really market his widgets in my state, so he agreed to sell to me at wholesale and I would become a distrbutor of sorts but market under THE SAME company name. I filed for a LLC in DE also called "ABC Widget Co". I bought the domain name for ABC Widget and had it directed to his website, where I was listed as a distributor.

Here’s where it gets tricky. Two weeks ago I was informed by several of my key customers that my friend had contacted them with pricing below my cost in an effort to undercut me. Essentially, he used info. gathered from my sales to stab me in the back. Some of the key customers took the bait and agreed to buy direct. (money’s money they say). Obviously, I wish to sever all ties with him and buy from another widget supplier. The question now is: Do I continue to market my company as "ABC Widget Company" using the logo he provided or perhaps same name but get my own logo (I have already invested a bit in promotion of the company under this name, but it is still early and I don’t think the impact would be that great to switch other than what I spent thus far. OR do I dissolve MY Delaware LLC named ABC Widgets and file a new LLC under a different name and start fresh? And what about the domain name for ABC Widget that I own? I don’t want him to have it, but if I continue in my state as ABC Widget and he already has a strong search engine presence for a company by the same name in another state, won’t that create a bit of consumer confusion? The last thing I want is for someone to do a search and inadvertantly end up buying widgets from him because he was higher up on the search and they didn’t realize they were dealing with a different entity because it had the same name.
My options apprear to be operate under ABC WIdget and possibly have some consumer confusion as well as constantly being reminded of that ill-fated venture with a former friend, or start over completely as Widgets R Us ????

How important is the relevancy of your URL in SEO? For instance if I own a flower shop in NYC. Is it important to have NYCflowers.com instead of GregsTulips.com? How much consideration if any do search engines take in the URL when deciding placement?

Is it good to buy keyword variations of my domain name? Will that hurt my standings in search? I am considering buying other names but am not sure if this will hurt or help me. Thanks so much..

I was going to market my website with this site that guaranteed me traffic. They say that I dont have to pay anything until I see results. They guarantee me that I will make 0,000 in 4 months. The catch is that I will have to paid for a domain name and host for the MTT software they use to market websites site through search engines. What exactly is ‘MTT software domain and host’.
