I really would like to create an online business that will make me six or more figures a year. I have been researching a while, and have come up with some ideas but am not sure if any of the ideas could be profitable. 1 idea is a website where i sell office chairs that I get wholesale and dropship. I am not sure however if office chairs would be good to sell and be profitable. What do you think?

Another idea is to make a website where people buy, trade, and sell gift card for cash. I make money from charging small fee to succesful sales and placing ads on site. Do you think this could make me six or more figure a year?

Another idea could be a niche content site on the subject of songwriting. I would have lots of articles, reviews, and howtos on songwriting to get traffic to the site. would then put ads adsense and relevant affiliate products to make money. Even though this could make me some money, can it make me six or more figures a year?

The last idea probably wont work, but it is a site where users can submit orginal songs (which they have legal rights to) and other users can listen, rate, comment, and share songs with other user. There would be a chat room and a top 10 song list. I would make money from ads. The problem is i would cost me 5-10k to make the site and im not sure if I should spend that money on the site if i dont know that it could be profitable.

So i really like the office chair idea since i think it is the most profitable. Do you think office chairs are good to sell though? What should I sell online if office chairs arent profitable (please no ebooks or info products). What are you’re thoughts on the other ideas. I could possibaly run the office chair site and list some on ebay, aswell as the niche content site to really increase my income. Any ideas?

Have you noticed that wonderful, unique items, as well as great discounts, have disappear off Ebay? Or that sellers have doubled shipping prices just to turn a profit due to the increased seller fees, not to mention the new horrible search engine, dysfunction feedback and double standard detailed seller star ratings. I once considered Ebay my favorite online flea market and shopped for hours. The joy of bidding isn’t even fun now since Ebay has added their new electronic bidder. I’ve been know to set my alarm clock for 3:00AM to win an item, do my victory dance and go back to bed. Gone are the days when my office-mates couldn’t believe I only paid (including shipping) for a top designer suit. If I wanted to pay retail for an item, I’d go to the mall. Ebay has forgotten their roots and what made them such a success. Can anyone tell me where my fellow flea marketers, the great stuff and the joy of bidding has gone?

This is just a random idea that I had, and I was wondering how many people would find it useful.

Problem:
Most fashion stores have a certain "line" or "collection" that they keep on their website/instores for only a few months. After the line is no longer in season, excess stock from the stores will go to discount stores like TJ Maxx or Marshalls, where they get minimal exposure to buyers. If the garments are still not sold in discount stores, they end up in the trash/garbage. Months later, a lot of trashed excess stock often get similar remakes in the original stores– isn’t that a waste?

So my idea was to convince designers/brands to put a call number or catalog number on every design they make, and then attach pictures of the garment to the catalog entry. The entries could then be compiled into an online database with a search engine. This way, there could be a organized way to track clothing, even when its sold out of stores or out of season.

The entries can even be tagged with searchable keywords, colors, design features, "style", etc.
This way, stores can make money off out-of-season clothing by allowing buyers an easy way to search through their old excess stock.

This also opens up the clothing pool for buyers– shoppers are no longer limited by what the stores have in stock. They can search the database for any article of clothing ever made, and trace down the garment either from the original store (if they have excess), or find a used garment with the catalog number.

It would also minimize the waste that comes from throwing away unsold clothing and prevent the re-making of garments that have already been manufactured.

I can also see a use for this type of cataloging in the used clothing market, like on eBay, or second-hand clothing stores, by allowing buyers to look for -specific- pieces of used clothing. Second-hand clothing stores could also use the database to keep exact stock of their clothes.

Do you think this type of system would be useful or popular?

we are making a online store to sell some solar products.

how can we get into search engines , or get more clicks ? or just basically boost traffic and let more people to see it even if they dont buy anything

do we need to hire someone to do it ?

does anyone know of any ways to boost traffic on to a website ( or specific ebay listings ) ?
are there any companies out there that do all this in a package deal ?

Has anyone ever sold or bought a car from One Stop Motors? or even heard of them?

I placed an add for my car on ebay and within 3 days One Stop Motors contacted me saying they could advertise and get my car sold for 9 non-refundable for more than what I was asking, that they would continue to advertise it until it was sold, and it would come up on the top 3 of any search engine. However, being skeptical I said sure if you could mail or email me a list of the services and advertisement sites you plan on using that you just described to me over the phone…. well that’s when all hell broke loose…. and they had me check out their website and read their blanket agreement online and do everything but send me a contract or description of exactly where, how long, and how many websites / ads they planned on marketing my vehicle. The only way they would divulge that information was in an invoice that I would get only after I paid them my 9 non-refundable. They just seemed shady especially if they do not offer their to-be customers with a solid assurance of where their money is going to be used towards and it is non-refundable.

Has anyone here ever sold or bought a car from One Stop Motors and if so how did it go? Has anyone here even heard of One Stop Motors.

Dear Yahoo US head office,
C.C. President Yang(who born in Taiwan)

I am a Taiwanese (my name is Edward Wang), the same country as you President Yang and Yankee Pitcher Wang born at , I am telling that you are going to lose in Chinese Search Portal Market rapidly. YahooTaiwan is not a making big mistake in Taiwan and playing tricks..
Because Taiwan Yahoo only put websites who pay taiwan yahoo money only. Remove websites that does not pay but high reputation in Taiwan Internet.
So the Chinese key words search because unprecisely, and not accuracy.
Most of time , it shows very different with google, I compare with informations that I need. And compare almost everyday using many other search engines, actually I found it is two (Yahoo and Google).

Sometimes I put same Chinese key word in Yahoo US and Yahoo Taiwan to test who is more accuracy , then it shows big differently, only take a glance , I know Taiwan Yahoo is not accuracy, it is a mass of who pay money to TaiwanYahoo, but it is really not accuracy by regular. Internet is fair and just , and God is fair, it won’t last long in this situation.
it won’t allow the money greedy TaiwanYahoo to keep doing this.
The market is not balanced, because TaiwanYahoo is starting first, but it won’t last long, because many users can see that tricks.

US is hard to know real Chinese thinking, why ? Thinking the failure Ebay in Taiwan and Ebay in Taiwan, US head will never know what tricks Chinese play, I am telling US Yahoo, because TaiwanYahoo is not listening to many users , only notice and people who pays. Users turn search portal to google , but still use Yahoo other services. By business data records , TwYahoo seem to win in search engine.
Example,You can check www.taiwanflorist.com.tw is listed high rank in Alexa and Google , and also in US Yahoo, but is purposely moved out in TaiwanYahoo, it is originally listed in TaiwanYahoo for years , TwYahoo are playing a trick to US head.
they is set up a seduce to submit freely, after that TY got this data, they will check this site pay or not pay. If not pay , it is moved by manually. It is evil. Can you believe that ?

Of course, at least I can show you hundreds examples that TwYahoo is not accuracy in search.(If you are willing to pay me,kidding, I can show you thousands examples).

It is evil and will not last long , because Internet cannot be block. Users will go the right search.
Please check if you notice my letter.
My mail is : touchtaiwan@gmail.com

I own a small internet web maternity clothing shop. www.hautemamacouture.com I get almost no business to it at all. I tried paying for advertising with search engines but I had too small a budget (spent 0 on 4 different engines/month). I also have the same items in a store on eBay. That’s where I make 99% of my money. However, with their recent announcements of fee increases, they should just change their name to FeeBay and their changes to the feedback policy that will not allow a seller to leave negative when warranted, I can no longer afford to do business on there. I spend about 0-,000 in eBay fees a month but I make about ,000 a month. How can I shift some of this around to promote my website. I am on a very limited budget and have no idea how to get people to go to this website and buy. Thanks!

Hello,

I am still in high school. I still need another year to finish my high school program. I am already 19 years of age. However, is getting my High School Diploma is not my best option? Should I just go to community college and begin some classes? I have taken various AP, Honors, an Advanced classes, I just never got credit for them. I dont know if a University will accept me without a diploma. My ACT Score is 33.

1. I am an eBay Powerseller and Top Rated Seller; with experience in global logistics, and importing an exporting, and working with Chinese Manufacturers and other outsourcing experience. This was my first company I started when I was 17.

2. I am an AdWords Qualified Professional and Search Marketing Expert, I have my own Search Agency that is a partner with Google, and I offer Lead Generation services to Law Firms and Sole Practitioner Lawyers. I also hold Advanced Google Certification in Analytics in search engine and performance based marketing and statistical and quantitative SEM analysis. (And I just want to be more financially sophisticated as a personal goal.)

3. I am currently studying for my Series 7 Exam, a financial exam to become a licensed stock-broker. I have a Financial Firm that will sponsor and offer me employment.

4. I am running for a current political position in my country, we have started my campaign, and I have a very high chance of getting elected. I am very active in my political party and backed by my party.
I meant to add:

"(And I just want to be more financially sophisticated as a personal goal.)"

Under point 3, not point 2.
My GPA at presence is 2.1.

Our ebay and website design site 1bestdesign.com is "sponsoring" a driver and he is putting our logo on his car. We’re building him a nice website in return for this. Where would be the best placement on his car for us?

I am thinking about setting up an online business and also selling at different events that coincide with my selected products. It will be mainly "gift-type" merchandise.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to get started, ideas on marketing, search engines, where to buy products, etc. Will I need a license and how hard is it to set up a website? It’s all so overwhelming! I don’t want to do Ebay–so overdone!
Also, does anyone have any success or failure stories about themselves or others that they’d want to share?
Any help is appreciated

I have a Yahoo 360 page listed under Jessica Dow, which is open to the public. Somone with experience might get a better idea of the best market for my work after seeing some examples. I also have links there to on-line portfolios and my new BLOGGER page ( which has some larger pictures of my custom work). I already have a few things on eBAY, on a trial basis. But I don’t think eBAY is the right place for work such as mine. Any advice would be very helpful. I’m planning on starting a professional web-site, but most of the web-site designers I’ve seen charge prices currently not within my budget. I know there are site-builders, but I don’t want a cheap knock off design ( template ) for my site. I want my site to reflect the same quality and beauty as the work I sell there. If that means I have to wait to hire a high priced professional, I’ll do that. I’d appreciate hearing of any other options.
