There are so many different sites on the internet to get certified in ESL/TESOL/TEFL etc… Which one is the best? I’m looking at americantesol.com because it’s the cheapest! Most of them are a thousand or more. My first question is… is americantesol a good site and do they guarantee you job placement like the website says?

I have a bachelors. Now, I know some countries don’t require an esl/tefl… certificate. I am specifically looking at Prague in the Czech Republic. What is a good website to find a teaching job in Prague or other countries?

I want to teach English abroad but I can’t afford 00 plus all the airfare and visa fees once I find a job placement.

Does anyone know if there is a way to qualify for financial aid and earn a CELTA or TEFL certificate?

If not, does anyone know of legitimate program that will let me work in exchange for getting qualified? Some programs claim that they will do a work exchange, but it seemed like it was just a scam to get you to go to their website.

I am looking to change my major, and I am considering a history major, but am worried about job placement. How is the school like?
Do they really help you find a job after you graduate or is it a lie?
On the website it says they have a 98% job placement but I was wondering is it the same for the IT field?
After you finish the 2yrs there can you transfer the credits to a 4 yr University and get a bachelors in Computer Science/Comp Engineering?

Can anyone help me out with these questions? I like the fact that they offer hands on training but I’m not willing to waste 11k when I can first go to a community college and transfer to a university.

Recently i just graduated from the Manhattan Institute for Phlebotomy/EKG class.They promised us for the Job Placement Assistant. All i thought before, this School will cooperate with any other hospitalor medical organization for the job placement. After i graduated, i went to the job placement. I’ve been working one year since graduating college with a BS in Marketing and am looking for something in the marketing field (non-sales) in the UK. Having enjoyed studying abroad in London, my desire has been to move back to the area to work and live. However, given my entry-level status and lack of contacts, it has not been easy finding a job overseas!

Recently, I have heard of people going into competitive placement programs that provide you a job and a place to live in the UK. If these exist (not Teach for America, of course), I hope some of you could point me in the right direction!

Also, if nothing practical exists, could you point me to a legitimate website/recruiting firm that provides international job placement for marketing grads?
