CNET & LA Times stating ms Bing taking 30% of al usa searches?
I smell dishonesty.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2011/04/microsofts-bing-took-30-share-of-us-web-search-market-in-march.html

People simply aren’t talking about or using Microsoft Bing period.

I personally see no reason to switch to Bing.

The CNET and LA Times stating that Bing just took 30% of all USA searches.

The statcounter also says Google still has 80% of all searches in USA.

http://gs.statcounter.com/#search_engine-US-daily-20110410-20110412-bar

What on earth is going on here?

thanks, experts @ Y! Answers

We have always been informed that keyword research is premier and most essential. So you start to examine with Google to discover how many websites are going after that keyword like for instance, Google Caffeine. You are in luck, more or less it may look like, there are merely 300,000 website outcomes that appear. You believe that you might got a shot at first page for that keyword. But don’t barely look at the page one results. Scan thrown to around page 4 or 5 and you might fancy a giant amazement.

Site Owners may observe that once pass number 5 or so the effects may quickly change to let’s say 7,000,000. What encountered? Easy, Google and Bing are getting sharper. They accept that there’s a lot of SEO going on. To fix webmasters from backward engineering there way to first page Google and Bing may solely render you a small indefinite quantity of results. You could never know on the nose how many websites are truly fighting for that keyword phrase. You can not trust the first web return that shows up. You may end up struggling for a keyword phrase that is almost unachievable to jump on first page of conclusions.

The similar is correct with backlinks. Most of the backlinks they show will not be all you got. Likewise, Google and Bing may record the whole amount concealed from view. This is a dandy help. This honors the websites that gain a crowning place and assists them so that it will not be simple for anyone else to plainly strike you over. Search engines demands you to acquire your position the hard way. Not by simply attempting to get one more backlink than your competition to get the greatest position.

Thus the next moment you’re searching keywords to outrank all right for precisely record this in view. Google and Bing are not going to spill their guts out to you so simply. You’re just have to jab a bit deeper in order to notice the proper keyword phrases. So you could be on your way to the top of search outcomes in months.

If you’re looking for a course to learn all you need to know roughly how to create sites online that becomes noticed then check into search engine placement education. To host your websites head to this cheap hosting space that saves you money.

I’m in the market for a new smartphone (my contract was due for an upgrade since last year). I’m on Verizon. Should I get the Incredible or X? Or should I wait for a better smartphone to hit the market? So far, I haven’t seen anything I would be willing to get. The closest thing I’ve been was the Samsung Fascinate, but after I read that it was defaulted to the Bing search engine, I no longer want to get it. What I’m mainly looking for- WiFi and 720p playback. I prefer Android 2.2, but I don’t mind other OSs. Thoughts anyone? Thank you!
Just to clarify- The Incredible and X came out a little while ago, hence I’m debating whether or not to wait for the next big thing or not. I’ve noticed that a brand name, quality phone usually releases once every few months.

A good childhood friend’s husband’s abuelita recently sent some delicious jalapeno and cheese tamales for us. This was my first time trying tamales, and I enjoyed them. I’d like to attempt making them at home. I realize this will probably be labor-intensive process, but I’d like to give it a shot over the weekend.

I don’t have any issues getting the husks, masa/masa harina, chiles, etc, as I live in an area with a good mix of ethnic markets.

Do any of you have tried and true winners you’d recommend? Again – I’ve done the search engine thing already and have some ideas, but I’m looking for personal recommendations.

Thanks!
@ I wonder: Interesting, but I was under the impression that cornmeal wouldn’t work for tamales. Have you made that particular recipe before?

Does anyone have advice for finding the cheapest flight tickets for a trip a few months away?
I am planning to fly to Japan in December. The dates are flexible.
Are travel agents obsolete? Are some websites better than others? What is the difference between working with a specific airline, working with a search engine like kayak.com or something like travelocity? How do those websites even work?
So my main question is about techniques for watching airline tickets like the stock market and picking the best deal. But I’m also curious about how these websites get their tickets and deals and if there is something besides those where I can look for a deal. Hopefully this can open up into a great thread on travel deals in general. Thanks Answers community!

My boyfriend is feverishly job hunting. He is in the finance market and thanks to this economy he’s desperate for a co-op position.

He came across this job, which he received a call back for which gave him the job. I have some SERIOUS reservations about this position. 1) It’s sales (HELLO scheme!) and it just REEKS of scam.

I’ve gone to every search engine I know of to find this place and I can’t find a thing. Does anyone know anything about this place? Or where I can find more information.

I don’t want him to get screwed over by some scheme. Here’s the link on Career Builder…again it just feels like a scam:

Hi everyone,

I am a 23 year old who just graduated from college and tried the job market, and I cannot see myself working for somebody else for the rest of my life. I have big dreams and ambitions and I believe I can do better than what I am doing. I have an internet website in mind, something for free.. Basicallly my plan is that people will use it and when it becomes popular, I will have advertisements on it and that’s how I will make my money.

I would like to know what it takes (people, resources, money etc) to create a networking website (this is not like facebook but similar in design) Also the website will include a refined search engine that matches keywords..

And my second question is : how do I register my idea so it become mine legally ?

Have you noticed that wonderful, unique items, as well as great discounts, have disappear off Ebay? Or that sellers have doubled shipping prices just to turn a profit due to the increased seller fees, not to mention the new horrible search engine, dysfunction feedback and double standard detailed seller star ratings. I once considered Ebay my favorite online flea market and shopped for hours. The joy of bidding isn’t even fun now since Ebay has added their new electronic bidder. I’ve been know to set my alarm clock for 3:00AM to win an item, do my victory dance and go back to bed. Gone are the days when my office-mates couldn’t believe I only paid (including shipping) for a top designer suit. If I wanted to pay retail for an item, I’d go to the mall. Ebay has forgotten their roots and what made them such a success. Can anyone tell me where my fellow flea marketers, the great stuff and the joy of bidding has gone?

Baidu is the search engine of choice in the world’s most poplulous nation, yet it would still have to turn into a 50-bagger from here to approach the current market cap of Google.
