My web hosting company submitted a ranking progress report twice within a week, because I upgraded my marketing package within a week, and they automatically do another one with each package. Google don’t like people (I didn’t even do it myself!) submitting rankinng reports more than once a month, and seem to have responded to this by taking my website off the search engine map (althought the url is still on google). Will gooogle forgive me for an action like this which – is not even my own?

I have been searching for sometime now and things are getting so much harder. I recently moved to the MD area and would like to work here or DC. I have experience in Purchasing (which i enjoyed very much) and accounts payable. If anyone has any ideas on how i could get a job or can offer me a job. I would appreciate that.

I have tried every job search engine out there.
I just want to add i am receiving my Master’s in BA with a concentration in Healthcare. Also i am obtaining my Master’s online which will not affect my work schedule and commute

Does anyone know of a good job search engine besides careerbuilder, monster, indeed, bestjobsusa, or linkup that doesn’t give you all the advertisements and phony jobs? I know there will still be some on there because there always is. I’m a recent college graduate and looking for a job in marketing and that’s what the phony ads are always aimed at! Thanks for any help on great sites!

Ok, I’m fully aware that we are in recession economy but heres my dilemma. For the past month I have applied to 74 jobs online and in person. No one has called me back. The only people who have called are the jerks that hunt the job sites (careerbuilder, monster, hotjobs, State job search engine) and want you to sell insurance (waste of time).

Now my resume was looked at by professionals and they have said it was incredible as is my cover letters. I have plenty of experience and a very professional appearance and attitude. What is the deal? I even call places back to follow up and they never call me back, ever.

I don’t get it. I live in a town of 75,000 and there are plenty of jobs.

Nowadays if we search any queries on yahoo, it gives lots of results around the world but if we click any of the results it transfers to us in a different page like any campaign or marriage portal or any junk things. May we know why things kinds of things are happening on yahoo search engine. If this is a part of marketing then its really bad as our precious time gets wasted. Yahoo should immediately address the concerns .

Now, before anyone says it’s an oxymoron because you need to have a big government to have socialism I want you to

WIKI LIBERTARIAN SOCIALISM, NOW!

"I.1 Isn’t libertarian socialism an oxymoron?" search this on a search engine

You do not need a state to have socialism, socialism is supposed to be workers control of the means of production.

"I would like to offer some calculations on a business which is:

(a) capitalist owned: One guy owns it and earns ,000,000/year. His 50 workers are paid minimum wage ,000/year.

(b) socialist (worker) owned: no rich guy: the 50 workers now earn his salary of ,000,000/50 = ,000 each.
Each worker now averages 15,000 + 20,000 = ,000, more than double his meager capitalistic wages.

Here is proof that "worker-owned" socialism raises the standard of living for the masses, not just a few filthy-rich capitalists.

No government-run wealth redistribution schemes needed here either. "
- Post from a far-left website.

I could start a worker cooperative right now and have socialism on a small scale, imagine if this was expanded to all of society as a whole! OMG SOCIALISM HATES FREEDOM BLAH BLAH BLAH. When you’d make more money under socialism!

For more information look up "worker cooperative"

It’s libertarian because its the opposite of authoritarian! There’s no government (or very small government) to redistribute the wealth. Libertarian does not have to mean unregulated capitalism (or anarcho-capitalism in some cases) unless you are talking about the Libertarian Party. In Europe, libertarian almost always means libertarian socialism/left-anarchism.
Noam Chomsky has a quote about this "Let me just say regarding the terminology, since we happen to be in the United States, we have to be rather careful. Libertarian in the United States has a meaning which is almost the opposite of what it has in the rest of the world traditionally. Here, libertarian means ultra right-wing capitalist. In the European tradition, libertarian meant socialist. So, anarchism was sometimes called libertarian socialism, a large wing of anarchism, so we have to be a little careful about terminology."

You can even have markets under real socialism, search this on a search engine "Mutualism (economic theory)" !

It isn’t fair when one rich guy hoards all the money, if you are producing 40 dollars worth of stuff per hour then you should get 40 dollars an hour, instead of the rich guy stealing 30 dollars from you because he owns the means of production how about EVERYONE owns the means the of production and gets paid according HOW MUCH THEY WORK? There’s no wealth distribution by the evil gubmit, because everyone owns the means of production. But it’s not stateless, classless communism (and certainly not authoritarian Marxist-Leninism) either, since workers are still paid for how much work they do; rather than

Keep in mind this has actually worked before, in the Spanish Civil War there was was anarcho-syndicalism in Catalonia, anarcho-syndicalism is a form of libertarian socialism. (look up that too)

"Despite their limitations, the Spanish anarcho-syndicalists established libertarian collectives where the means of production and exchange were socialized, through direct management by the workers and not through imposition by the state. Economic surplus was also self-managed. Also, and once again in contrast to the USSR, the workers of the collectives were rewarded equally, without productivity falling or initiative lacking. The bourgeoisie and the bureaucracy believe that if there is not a large wage differential, initiative and interest in increasing production will be lost. This idea was shown to be false in the Spanish libertarian collectives, where solidarity between the collectivists made self-government function satisfactorily."

Last time I asked a question like this a guy named Freedom > Govt said "if government takes money and redistributes it by force, as in, INvoluntary, that IS authoritarianism" THE GOVERNMENT ISN’T REDISTRIBUTING THE WEALTH!

A guy called Joe in texas answered in my last question "Socialism requires a central authority with the power to take what is yours and "redistribute" it to someone else. How can this possibly co-exist with freedom and Liberty?"

I’ve showed you it can co-exist with freedom and liberty easily and you don’t need a central authority.

So I ask everyone, how is it an oxymoron? (after I’ve given you all these examples?)
@TJTB

DID YOU EVEN READ THE WHOLE QUESTION?

I’m thinking about doing some email marketing. I’ve tried to do research on this company but there’s nothing to go on. I typed their url at bbb.org and the company couldn’t be found. I even checked for complaints about this company through yahoo search engine. At the bottom of their website, it only shows a street address but no city or state. They claim to have Guaranteed results. hmmm….

The Mac vs. PC debate annoys me because a Mac "is" a PC, and I’ve seen that ad dozens of times the last time being just today. A PC is a Personal Computer. It would be like having a comparison between a BMW and a car. Both are cars, and both could be BMW’s. It’s just marketing hype. Companies do this all the time, the most recent example being the Bing ads that claim Bing is not a search engine but a "decision engine".

It’s the oldest marketing trick in the book, to claim that your product is something entirely different from others when in fact there are only minor differences well within the standard deviation. By that, I mean that all products in a category are unique in some way but not to the extent that they cease belonging in that category. People usually have the sense to realize that yes, a BMW is a car, and Bing is, in fact a search engine. I have yet to hear someone call Bing a "decision engine", and when I do I’ll have to try real hard not to punch them in the face. Why is it that people don’t understand that a Mac is just a different brand of PC? Maybe because the acronym for Personal Computer is meaningless by itself and PC now means anything but a Mac?

I have an e-commerce site = http://www.liverystable.net, this site is for horse classifieds. What are some techniques and ideas for promoting the sight beyond typical SEO and PPC practices? I do have an aggressive SEO campaign going, but just feel like I have to be missing out on other marketing options that aren’t so search engine or even internet dependent, and until/unless I’m on the first page, I want to continue to try to market the site as effectively as I can.

Microsoft is offerein 44.6 billion DOLLARS (US) and change, PLUS stock to buy out YAHOO!, umm why to get of competion.
Read on.. Microsoft Corp. has pounced on slumping Internet icon Yahoo Inc. with an unsolicited takeover offer of .6 billion in its boldest bid yet to challenge Google Inc.’s dominance of the lucrative online search and advertising markets. Well, THANK YOU (ahead of time) Mr. Gates for screwing this Search Engine up (It’ll be a peice of crap like MSN.. slow searches, bad results, I always have guessed that Microsoft filtered out any competion because the results from Yahoo and MSN are VERY different) The what about out Yahoo! mail accounts??? They will be slow and awkard and not the most user friendly… just like Hotmail after Microsoft bought them out.*&^%#$^!! So where to next? Nothing that money can not get rid of if they don’t want you around I guess. Goodbye Yahoo! It’s been great sorry your about to be ground up in the Giant Microsoft Planet Killing Machine.

Can someone explain to me why I would get 6 job announcements about an OR Surgical Nurse position when all of my search agents are for sales and marketing? Some of these alerts are an incredible waste of time and demonstrate a job search engine that has no teeth.

I just signed up with a MLM and I received 3 web-sites/pages to market my biz. I am however, really confused about how to, or which company to go with, to drive traffic to my sites. There are thousands of others signed up with the same co. who come up in a search engine. I considering email advertising or just buying leads. I want to spend as little as possible; I am just getting started and I do not want to end up putting more into this biz than I am getting out of it. I would appreciate your comments.

Thanks in advance!

I’m fairly familiar with OS Commerce and a few other similar carts. However I’m looking for the easiest most cost effective way to get a site online and selling.

A few details
We will be selling physical goods.
We will be operating multiple sites in multiple niches.
Search engine friendly URLs are important to me.
Ease of uploading product is important.
Multiple design templates are important.
We will be operating both wholesale and retail site so the ability to have the customer purchase via cc, check and/or purchase order (Net Terms) is very important.

I think I would prefer a hosted solution for now.

This would allow me to put my efforts toward marketing etc rather than worrying about in depth design, security, payment processing etc.

I know I would grow out of this, however IMHO in will be the quickest easiest way to get started. Also, it will allow more time to research the long term solution and get what I really want long term while still having a store in the short term.
