What are the best free ways to market a website? I have done Facebook ads, Adwords, and Google Base.

But what are some other ways to get a website traffic, and increase revenue?

I have work experience next year and I want to try and secure a placement at a radio station/newspaper/magazine. I’ve decided to type different letters for each place, this one is for my local BBC because on their website it says about work experience placements. Please can someone tell me if this is too formal or i’m being too arrogant? I have said about my high grades in R.E and that i am good at English because they will get a lot of placements so I have to compete with other people. Do you think I should attach the letter they sent home about my r.e award or my report, or do you think that would be too much? Sorry that it’s so long. Many thanks in advance for reading it all!

My name is ___________; I am currently fourteen years old and go to school at _____________. Next year I will be in year ten and I will be doing my work experience for ten days from March 28th to April 8th. I am very passionate about news journalism; I am also very interested in politics and religion as I believe they are two very controversial topics that are constantly making interesting headlines in the news. By reading newspapers, reading online articles and watching news programs (usually the BBC); I have become more interested in religion and politics and have already started achieving awards and high grades for my effort and dedication to religious education because I am filled with the ambition to do well in this subject that I enjoy greatly and love. Furthermore, when I am old enough I would like to pursue a career in news journalism and I was wondering if the BBC took on year tens (fifteen year olds) for unpaid work experience.

I love to write and put maximum effort in English class because I enjoy writing greatly and know that it is essential for the career path I want to follow. I also think that by doing work experience at the BBC I would be able to see how a news company’s office works and what the pros and cons are involved in working in the journalism industry. I am enthusiastic about learning how the journalism industry works; I am confident when it comes to speaking and communicating as I know communication is key when it comes to getting things done sufficiently and meeting important deadlines. Lastly, I am also passionate about journalism because news stories are what people want to read; they want to know what is happening in the world or their local community and it is very important to be aware with what is happening as news is one of the most important things that makes life interesting.

So I got this cool idea for selling products to a niche market. However, I don’t know the first thing about website design, HTML, domain names, blah, blah, blah… and I don’t want to pay a web-designer. I want to do this cheap, not necessarily free, but cheap. What is the best site to help me build my page, that will get me into the big 3 (search engines) and get me noticed, so I can sell, sell, sell? Hi there. I’m not very savvy with website designing and stuff like that. My brother made a website for an overseas market and since his website was just up two months ago it’s not seeing much traffic right now. However, the designer charges .00 for website maintenace fee which I think its outrighteous for something that he doesn’t work for! Also, is there any way we can promote the website? I wanted to get some tips and opinions on building an informational website. Is this a good niche? By information I mean just about anything dealing with information, such as articles, ebooks, etc. Maybe promoting other websites, etc. Oh, and also selling things such as ebooks, regular books, cd’s, dvd’s etc. Is this a good market? I am new to the whole small business world, but have been really trying. i had my auto classified website up and running for a while now, PR is at 2 and i just dont seem to get good number of organic traffic. from google like under 500 a month and less from other search engines. is there anything i can do to increase it with just the tools that i can get my hands on?

I am learning to do SEO and many of the available literatures are confusing and sometimes conflicting – I have several practical questions and I would be obliged if someone can provide expert answers. Lots of thanks in advance.

1. Can I put a keyphrase like "e-business advantage" in the keyword tag when "e-business" and "advantage" are the words to be found in the content and not the "e-business advantage" phrase?

2. When "custom website design" is already defined as a keyphrase do I need to put keyphrases like "website design" or "custom website" or they are superfluous and not required?

3. Does "Bangalore Java Jobs" and "Java Jobs Bangalore" are same in terms of search?

4. The content has several occurences of "e-business consulting", "e-business solutions", "e-business strategies" and "e-business applications" – what would be an optimum keyword list?

5. The content has "pay-for-placement" so what should be my keyword? "pay for placement" or "pay-for-placement" ?

Hi, I just changed my spark plugs and wires for my 2000 mitsubishi galant V6 engine. All was fine, but i seem to have got the front spark plug wire assembly (2 – 4 – and 6 spark plugs) to the distributor cap incorrect. Please could someone tell me what the correct wiring sequence or placement of the spark plug wires is..

my family owns a small business and we just started a website. and to increase website traffic i am wanting to put a coupon on the website, and tell customers about the coupon in our brochure.

I just signed up with a MLM and I received 3 web-sites/pages to market my biz. I am however, really confused about how to, or which company to go with, to drive traffic to my sites. There are thousands of others signed up with the same co. who come up in a search engine. I considering email advertising or just buying leads. I want to spend as little as possible; I am just getting started and I do not want to end up putting more into this biz than I am getting out of it. I would appreciate your comments.

I’m an undergrad, and I currently have a marketing internship at Fisher-Price for the summer. The experience is great, and I’m already excited for other possible future marketing internships. Target and Apple seem to have energetic cultures, but what companies really provide a great experience as well as shine on a resume? I want to aim for the best of the best.
