How to increase my website traffic (enicepages.com) by using yahoo and also how to increase website ranking? I want that how i get more traffic from yahoo search engine and what are the other resources on yahoo that i use to increase my websites or blogs traffic.

Do you have your own website or blog and have you tried exchangeing links with others.This is a good way of increasing traffic on your site.Why dont you join groups which exchange links.I have created three groups today for helping people in link exchange.The more no of links you exchange the more traffic you get as people who exchange links with you keep visiting your site to chek if their link is still there or not.Wont that increase traffic on your site and that will list your site in search engines.There are no members at present but please join the group because i know that the members will soon increase.Here are the links

Recently starting my own company, I have found that the headaches are sometimes overwhelming. The main problem I have is the issue of website searchability and advertisement. I have tried everything to increase my website traffic. I have a yahoo website, and they don’t offer a description meta tag spot. I have been told this is very important. Has anyone had these same issues, and are their any fixes to them without spending thousands on "website marketing and enhancement" ?

I think I finally figured out what it takes to get more traffic-real traffic!!
You need a page on your site dedicated to your fellow website owners. It’s that simple.
People who do this make a lot on money. It’s an awesome way to get more traffic.
Google and Yahoo notice if you are participating in friendly conduct. This includes sharing links. Getting kicked off or shut down isn’t as hard as you think. Just take a look at some forum/blog notes about people who have been shut down for no apparent reason. If these huge search engines have to make room on their system, you are a sitting duck if you aren’t playing NICE. Think about it-if they drop you because all you are is a single site with nothing more than ads and something to sell, they’ve lost nothing by closing you down-someone else will replace you in a heartbeat. BUT, if you have other links and referrals on your site, dropping you will cause a domino effect which could cost them a lot of money. So, they’ll pass.
That being said, would you like to exchange links?

my friend runs a small taxi business and his adverts sometimes has the term "taxi" but he clearly says he operates on a PCO prebooking basis but all his customers are international and in countries round the globe the term Taxi is the only word they use in their vocablary and they do not know what a minicab is. He is not being akward but his adverts are designed for the international market and he advertises on google and Yahoo search engines which is seen internationally.
The law by PCO states you cannot use the word taxi
I have just started a new movie review blog with a twist. I review movies without even seeing them, then review the same movies again after I do see them. The idea is to be funny more than anything. I don’t really know how to get my blog to come up in the major search engines unless I type the exact address in Google or Yahoo. How can I get it to come up by typing in more general terms like "movie reviews", etc.? I had read that posting my link in forums is a way to market it, but won’t other blogs or forums about the same topic not want others to do that?
My blog also contains some explicit language. Can I post my link in forums and so forth without getting into trouble?

I am looking to advertise my website on google and yahoo and use sponsored links for some keywords. I have been able to find lots of information about how google works but I was wondering if yaho works the same way for ad ranking, placement etc.

Google like many Large multi national companies that were started in the USA wanted a share of the Chinese market and made a deal with China to censor search results in China.
Now that google has had a hackers attack from inside China they may leave the country *(I do not now the full story yet except that there was a hackers attack on google and google mail from inside china. I have not heard/read what google plans to do.)
I do not want this to influence your answer much but I really cut back on using google when they gave in to Chinas demads and started using the older search engines and portal like Yahoo.com

Although there are vast resources for Google/Yahoo SEO there is little information available in English for optimizing a site for Baidu and the local Chinese search engines.
I would like to know as much as possible, links or personal experiences, about SEO for the Chinese SE market, specifically Baidu. References to Chinese sites will be highly appreciated as well.
