What can I get a career in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Marketing?
I’m interested in breaking into a career to one day become an SEO Marketing Manager or something similar within the web/internet field. My previous experience include a few early years working in public relations and more recently a couple years in direct marketing in the food industry. Currently I’m one semester into pursuing my MBA I’m wondering what marketing or information technology classes I should look at to pursue my desired career?

If you’re getting your MBA you’d might want to supplement your education with marketing management coursework then take IT classes on web marketing. It honestly depends on what your school has to offer.

I would suggest that you get on linkedin adn jointhe various SEO groups there. I am currently taking a SEO 8 week training class thru SEO Networker but I would get involved with groups on social meeting first to get some insight

You can always google "seo companies". Check out each SEO website and look for the jobs section or the contact us section, usually at the bottom. Sometimes, they’ll have careers for you in SEO.
You may also want to look in your local area.
