Hi, your search engine ranking is based on approximately 130 different factors.
Your new site(same address) will get ranked accordingly based on your new content and how it relates to your new meta tags(and about 129 other things)…
I am assuming your site has a completely new direction or focus. If you simply updated your content, your ranking will likely increase.
Unless, you completely blow your keyphrase relevency, and on page factors like that.
Also, if you have been creating effective backlinks with keyphrases, you will want to go change them to reflect your new focus.
