What is the best way to increase traffic to my website (www.CandleThought.com)?
Without attracting loads of spammers. I’m just looking for new members to get the ball rolling. Avid members looking to share stories or answers.

Quick Solution:
I noticed that while the website is not very popular, you can get away with a very simple way of taking care of the spammer problem. Most spammer scripts are not very intelligent, so asking for an answer to a simple math question should solve the problem (like: enter what’s 1 + 5 into this input field before you can proceed). You can write this script using Javscript and PHP, it’s very simple even if you don’t know these languages.
