I should imagine that all search engines are global and so if the chinese want to use them they can. I don’t use Google at all and never have. the government in China are at the moment only thinking about closing google that was on the news this morning.
Google fails as a search engine and cares about nothing but it’s own profits.
google filters search results to favor its best customers.
Here is a chinese search engine I always use that puts google to shame,it filters nothing.

While I thought it was wrong of Google to give in to China’s demands, Yahoo is much more notorious for doing the same thing.
As far as Google, I think it’s cool that they are standing up to them now. But I think they will bend eventually and go back to censoring.
